In My Mailbox (2): Book Haul

I got some great books this week! Here are some of them:

These are the books I received for review this week:
  • The Long Weekend by Savita Kalhan
  • The End is Near by Harry Ramble
  • You Don't Love This Man by Dan DeWeese
  • Stilettos and Scoundrels by Laina Turner-Malaski
  • Blood of My Brother by James LePore
  • A World I Never Made by James LePore

These are some Red Dress Ink books I got from the Goodreads Swap. I LOVE Red Dress Ink. They are amazing chick-lit books, and I have never read one I didn't like:

  • The Breakup Club by Melissa Senate
  • Starting From Square Two by Caren Lissner
  • A Little Change of Face by Lauren Baratz-Logsted
  • The Younger Man by Sarah Tucker
  • What I Really Want to Do is Direct by Yvonne Collins

These are books I purchased from Amazon. I couldn't resist - the prices were really good!
  • Nothing to Fear But Ferrets by Linda O. Johnston (cozy mystery - Petsitter series 2)
  • Sit, Stay, Slay by Linda O. Johnston (cozy mystery - Petsitter series 1)
  • Holly's Inbox 2: Scandal in the City by Holly Denham (I really liked the first book so I had to get the sequel which wasn't available at the library)
  • The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove by Lauren Kate
  • Love in the Asylum by Lisa Carey
  • Dying to Live by Kim Paffenroth (zombies - my new favorite!)
  • The Price by Alexandra Sokoloff (I read and loved her book, The Harrowing, a few years ago - so scary!)
  • The Unseen by Alexandra Sokoloff
  • The Gentlemen's Club by Becky Due (not pictured)

    Great books Steph. The Betrayal of Natalie Harhrove sounds really good. I bought The Long Weekend a couple of weeks ago too after hearing some really good reviews

    Awesome mailbox this week! Don't think I've read any Red Dress Ink books, but will have to check them out. I feel that same way about the Luna imprint! Enjoy!

    So many books, lucky you! I like the chick-lit ones, it's not usually my kind of genre, but those covers I just can't resist. Love in the Asylum sounds like an intriguing read as well. Enjoy reading!

    I had a hard time resisting Amazon's bargain prices too =D The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove looks really awesome and gothic, doesn't it? I'm so excited to read that one! I hope you enjoy!

    Wow! A lot of new books arrived at your house this week. The Breakup Club by Melissa Senate is a cute read. I remember thinking immediately after I finished the book that I hoped she would bring back these characters in a follow up novel. I haven't read anything by her that I didn't like. See Jane Date was my first Red Dress Ink book.

    The Long Weekend and A World I Never Made sound great, I can't wait to read your reviews. Alexandra Sokoloff has been recommended to me but I still haven't read any of them yet. The Harrowing is still on my wish list though. :)
