Get Sh*t Done: May 2020 Goals

April continued to be a very, very weird month. I worked remotely for the entire month, and only left the house for things like prescriptions and food. I thought I’d get a lot more done and be more productive, but this is a strange time where it’s been kind of hard to stay motivated. Anyone else? Anyway, here’s how my April 2020 goals went, and the new goals I'm setting for May 2020.

April 2020 Goals Recap

Reading

Read eight books: FAIL. I got close with 6.5, but not quite there! Still an excellent reading month, though.
Re-read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: FAIL. Too busy with book club books!

Watching

Watch three movies: DONE. I’ll tell you which ones on my monthly wrap up post.
Watch and finish The Good Doctor OR The Resident (season one for either): FAIL. I chose The Good Doctor, and it is SO good, but I’m only a few episodes in so far.
Watch and finish Making a Murderer: FAIL. I didn’t realize that this had two seasons and was very long. I love it and am ALMOST done, but have a few episodes left.
Start The Circle: DONE. I started it and am about halfway through so far.

Household

Clean off the dining room table: FAIL.
Clean out my car: FAIL.
Clean out the fridge and wash shelves: DONE. Jerry actually did this and I didn’t even ask him to!
❌ Clean out the freezer: FAIL.
Support at least two small, local businesses: DONE. We supported a TON of local small businesses: Something Delicious, Krazy Cakes, Bella Pasta, Carmine’s, Neu Cookies.
✅ Total Completed: 4 of 11. Not great, but not terrible. This month was weird and unmotivating for a lot of us, so I’m cutting myself some slack.
