📚 What It's About

Callie is a young Hollywood hopeful, having just moved to LA from her boring life in Michigan. Working a grueling waitressing job, while auditioning for roles, Callie finally lands the lead role in Nympho Cheerleaders Attack!, a surprisingly huge hit. Just like that, Callie’s world changes to one of glamour, fame, and fortune – just what she’d always dreamed of. After a terrible and shocking tragedy hits a bit too close to home for Callie, she soon learns that the Hollywood life may not be all that it’s cracked up to be…

📝 My Review

This book was a scandalous thrill ride that I did not want to put down! Bring on the sequel please, Shamron – I loved it!  Full of drama and excitement, I found myself continually racing home to pick this book up again until I sadly reached the end. Callie went through a whole lot of drama and I imagine that her experience is a lot like what many young hopefuls really do go through in Hollywood. I felt that this novel was probably a pretty accurate portrayal of Hollywood life. While it could be shallow, graphic, and brash at times, I found myself entranced by Callie’s story. If you’re easily offended, you won’t appreciate the book’s vulgarity, but I didn’t mind it. This is the perfect summertime beach read, full of juicy drama and scandal. I loved getting to take a peek into the Hollywood life – it was a total blast!
