So remember when I started recapping my massive Book Outlet Haul last month? Well, I’m finally getting around to recapping it some more! They have some really awesome sales and I managed to hit two really good ones which means I have lots of books to share with you! Today, I’ll be recapping the romance books I bought in their March sale. Here we go!
A Light at Winter's End (Cedar Springs 3) by Julia London: A woman's estranged sister drops her baby off with her and then takes off. Holy intriguing!
Ready to Wed by Cindi Madsen: A wedding planner gets jilted by her fiancé while already in her wedding dress and on a cruise. Count me IN! I love cruising, love chick lit, and love weddings. The main character also writes a wedding advice column. I love writers too! Should be a fun read!
Falling Like Snowflakes (Summer Harbor 1) by Denise Hunter: A woman on the run with her son winds up broken down in Summer Harbor. This story takes place during Christmas and I LOVE Christmas themed books. It also sounds suspenseful and sweet.
The Goodbye Bride (Summer Harbor 2) by Denise Hunter: A woman loses her memory and forgets that she had left her fiancé, Zac, and got engaged to another man shortly before the concussion that stole her memory. YIKES! Sounds dramatic! Can’t wait to see how this one plays out.
Anything But Sweet (Sweet, Texas 1) by Candis Terry: A TV makeover show and a hometown hunk? Sounds fun! I LOVE reality TV anything and I also LOVE all things Southern.
Sweetest Mistake (Sweet, Texas 2) by Candis Terry: First love and missed opportunity… sounds sweet to me!
Something Sweeter (Sweet, Texas 3) by Candis Terry: An event planner who doesn’t quite believe in true love learns a lesson when she goes back home for her dad’s wedding. Reluctant in love… fun!
Sweet Surprise (Sweet, Texas 4) by Candis Terry: A single mom and cupcake shop owner doesn’t want to fall in love… then a firefighter comes along. Sounds smokin’! Also, I love reading about bakery owners. Must be the chocoholic in me, yes?
Truly Sweet (Sweet, Texas 5) by Candis Terry: A marine and the girl who has loved him since high school, now a single mom… sounds like a sweet ending to this series!
So, have you read any of these? Which ones catch your eye? I am a very eclectic reader and romance is one of the (many) genres I enjoy!
