ONE.
My external hard drive arrived on Easter and I already started moving some of my videos of Caleb from my phone! Awesome because I feel like they’re a bit safer now, and my phone is no longer full. Hooray! I also want to get the videos made to DVDs. I’ve been investigating, and it looks like Walmart has a mail in service for that. I’m looking at it as another form of backup in case the hard drive fails AND I want to be able to watch them on the TV. As for pictures, I use the Shutterfly Make My Book service and do quarterly photo books. They make your books for you which saves me hours and hours and is totally worth the $10 fee (and no, this is not sponsored, I just love it – ha!).
TWO.
Easter was good. We don’t go overboard with gifts. We spent $10 on stuff for Caleb’s basket: a book, Paw Patrol cup, and two pieces of candy. We went to dinner with my parents, then did an egg hunt in the yard. We just threw the eggs on the grass and he picked them up and put them in his basket. Of course, he then proceeded to have a 45 minute meltdown when it was time to go inside…
And behold… Caleb’s Easter “before and after.”
Part 1: “I’m pissed because my mom took her phone away from me, and no, I don’t care that I have an Easter basket. It is no consolation. My mom is cruel and life is unfair.”
Part 2: “Oh wait! There’s candy? I guess I can resign as President of the Piss and Moan Club!”
THREE.
Jerry started buying me horror Funko Pops around Christmas time, and surprises me with a new one every so often. I’m up to six and I love looking at them on my desk at work!
FOUR.
I went to Painting With a Twist for the second time on Monday! My two best friends and I decided to go on a whim because the class was discounted. We had an awesome time AND I won a contest: tag yourself there on Facebook and whoever got the most likes would win a prize, and it was ME! Hahaha. I won a cup and a coupon. We painted mason jars which is perfect and matches my décor, then stopped for greasy slices of pizza on the way home. I love these two ladies and always laugh when I’m with them.
FIVE.
Caleb has officially entered the terrible twos. For the last few weeks, he has taken to throwing tantrums and having meltdowns whenever he doesn’t get his way. And this child can go on and on and on because he’s stubborn like his mama. Sigh. When does this phase end?
Anyway, hope you all have a nice weekend! I’m going to my BFF’s Tastefully Simple party tonight after work and then going to dinner with Jerry and Caleb tomorrow night. Jer and I will probably continue our new weekend tradition of watching horror movies after Caleb goes to bed. Life is thrilling over here, I tell ya!
